Global Care at Healthy by Nature

Global Care

Global Care is a way of packaging together a collection of healthcare services and resources and making them available to a group of people for a set fee.

Global Care has some excellent advantages over conventional healthcare system. It is extremely cost effective. Global Care makes sense for practitioner and patients by encouraging prevention and education. It allows patients to utilize medical services based on need and not finances. It allows patients and practitioners to budget effectively. It supports an educational emphasis on healthcare fostering independence and self sufficiency. The goal of Global Care is to increase your health and allow you to have a progressively more control over your level of health and the quality of care you receive.

Successful candidates for Global Care  are highly motivated, committed to learning about health and healing, and willing to commit resources such as time and study to becoming more healthy. If you regularly seek care outside of your global care option, it may not be cost effective to use both systems. If you are not motivated to take responsibility for your own care you will not be happy in a Global Care system.

Global Care at Healthy by Nature has 3 components, education, routine care, emergency and after hours care.

Education is the most important part of Global Care at Healthy by Nature. Our mission is to create independence and self sufficiency in health care. Education is how we pass along practical knowledge of how to stay healthy, manage minor emergencies, and approach health care from a Naturopathic paradigm. Education occurs in 3 settings: classroom/seminar/workshop opportunities; routine care and visits; and in critical or emergency situations.

Classes, Seminars, workshops are educational opportunities that encompass a variety of healthcare education on a variety of topics. They range from beginning classes on general health to Advanced Botanical Medicine field trips to seminars on cardiovascular health or respiratory care for infants.

Routine Care includes individual consultation, physical exam, review of labwork, and customization of healthcare for specific individuals or families. These happen as scheduled events, casual interactions, and contact by text, Internet or phone. They are generally also used as a teaching opportunity.

Emergency and After Hour Care is included for help with practical health issues that occur outside of normal working hours. These are often the most practical and useful interactions of all because they provide intense learning opportunities during practical applications and increase elf sufficiency in acute care situations.

A Healing Journey. Global Care allows each person or family to individualize their healthcare needs based on what they need from day to day, season to season, or in unexpected circumstances based on their unique issues.  Although routine and emergency care are highly variable, sucessful change and exceptional health is most closely tied to reglar opportunities for group support and classroom education.
